I’m delighted to share an interview with Andrea Scher whom I first encountered while taking the inspiring and uplifting online class called Mondo Beyondo. Andrea is one of the creators of this dazzling five week e-course that is all about discovering where dreaming BIG can take you.
1. Tell us a little bit about the back story behind Mondo Beyondo.
I first posted about Mondo Beyondo on my blog back in 2004. I had always been a fan of list-making and the power of manifesting and Mondo Beyondo was a way to stretch myself to dream bigger.
2. What is your greatest source of inspiration?
Is it trite to say my three year old Ben? But it’s true. He inspires me with his love, his authenticity, his compassion. He keeps my dreaming in perspective and grounds me in what is most important in the end.
3. What has been a guiding principle for you in your creative process?
Tell the truth. Be real. Be vulnerable. Be brave.
4. As a creative entrepreneur, what is the single most important pearl of wisdom you’d like to share?
You really can bring your whole self to your work. Your creative work can be an expression of all of who you are and all of what you love.
5. What juicy items are currently on your Mondo Beyondo list?
Buying a home in Berkeley. Spending three months in Barcelona. Having a slumber party with Drew Barrymore.
6. Anything else you’d like to share?
It’s okay to not know what your dreams are right now. When we can practice being brave, vulnerable, and learn to follow and trust our intuition, we will be carried to extraordinary places.
