Mood Board Madness

Last week I created a digital mood board to get the creative juices going again for the look and feel of new site. In last week’s post, I also included a photo of a hand made Mood Board I created a year ago for my site.

I’m finishing up my second week of  Blogging Your Way Boot Camp with Holly Becker of the wildly successful blog, Decor8. One of the assignments was to create a Mood Board. So even though I made one last week, I was eager to refine my design aesthetic using  water colors, hand lettering, patterns and images related to travel, art and cuisine. A new color palette emerged: mint, coral/pink with pops of blue and yellow.

Would love to hear about your experiences making a mood board in the comments below.

By the way, I’m LOVING Holly’s class!

UPDATE: I was delighted that Holly included my mood board in a blog post about mood boards!

  1. Your mood board is lovely! I looked at of the mood board through your link and they are all so pretty. You do a good job representing what you would like to show on your blog through mood boards.

  2. Very fun mood board. I’ll have to take a picture of my vision board from a few years back. I may have to add some “new visions.”
